H&M gift cards for Poland and Germany

Redeem the H&M gift card online

Add the items to your basket on the correct regional hm.com site. At checkout choose “Add gift card”, then enter the card number and PIN collected from your Payticon order page. H&M deducts the available value from the purchase.

If the card does not cover the total, use a payment method actually presented by that regional checkout. The available split-payment methods can differ by country and order, so this page does not promise a particular bank or wallet option.

Use the card in an H&M or H&M HOME store

Present the digital card at an eligible till in the country in which it was issued. After a purchase, the receipt can show the remaining balance. The same country restriction applies online: a PLN card is not a general-purpose card for Germany, and a EUR card is not a Polish card.

H&M states that a physical gift card can be topped up in a store in some markets. That does not mean the digital Payticon card is reloadable; only the value supplied with the purchased code is included here.

Check the balance and keep the card data

Use the official H&M balance tool for the correct country and enter the card number and PIN. Balance information is also available through a store or regional support, and may appear on a purchase receipt.

Keep both card details after a part-payment. Unused value remains attached to the card, and return handling may require the original order and card information.

Validity differs between Poland and Germany

The public regional terms are not identical:

• Poland: H&M states two years from the last activation or purchase, but warns that cards bought outside H&M, hm.com or SVS UK Limited may follow different conditions. For a Payticon code, check the date returned by the official balance tool and the data supplied with the card.
• Germany: the current German terms state five years from the last activation or purchase. After expiry the card cannot be reactivated and residual value is not paid out.

In both sets of terms, a card whose balance remains at zero for three months becomes invalid. Do not apply the Polish two-year statement to a German card.

Multiple cards, cash and returns

German H&M terms allow up to ten H&M gift or merchandise cards per online order. The public Polish page does not state the same numerical limit, so the Polish checkout or support must confirm the current maximum.

The card value cannot be paid out in cash. For a mixed-payment return, regional H&M terms determine the order of refund methods; the gift-card-funded share can be returned as electronic gift credit. Keep the receipt and card data until any return is complete.
