Payticon currently sells a digital €10 bücher.de gift card. Once payment is confirmed, collect the card number and PIN from your order page. The credit is intended for the German buecher.de online shop; it is not a general-purpose card for Thalia bookstores or other partner shops.

What can the bücher.de card pay for?

Current bücher.de help covers all products in its online shop and ancillary costs such as delivery and gift service. Depending on the current range, that may include books, audiobooks, eBooks, tolino devices, games, films and other media. The basket is the final check for availability and gift-card eligibility.

A purchased gift card is different from a promotional or percentage voucher. Discount codes may have separate product exclusions, minimum spends and expiry dates.

How to redeem the card number and PIN

Sign in to buecher.de, add the items to the basket and proceed to “Review & order”. Under “Redeem gift cards or voucher codes”, enter the 17-digit card number and four-digit PIN. Check that the value has been applied before placing the order; bücher.de says the card cannot be credited retroactively.

Cards issued before 22 January 2026 may still work without a PIN in the balance checker. For a newly purchased code, follow the details shown on that card and in the current checkout.

Remaining balance, multiple cards and split payment

If the credit does not cover the basket, buecher.de asks for another payment method for the difference. Its help also says a payment method may be required even when the gift credit is sufficient.

Unused credit remains available for a later purchase. The current printable FAQ states a maximum of 15 gift vouchers per order, or 14 gift vouchers together with one promotional voucher. Gift credit cannot be used to buy another gift card.

Expiry and refunds

The specific card terms state that credit expires three years after the end of the year in which the card was last topped up. Still check the information for the specific card and its current balance, because promotional vouchers follow different deadlines.

For a refund on an order paid by gift card, buecher.de says it provides a PDF containing a new card number and PIN. The value is not paid out as cash. The card terms exclude liability for lost, stolen or unreadable cards, so treat the number and PIN like cash.
