How does an IKEA gift card work?

After Payticon confirms the payment, you collect the card number and PIN on your order page. Redeeming the card does not require entering payment-card details: the purchase is paid from the gift-card balance. If the balance is too low, IKEA requires you to pay the difference using a method available in that sales channel.

Where can you pay with an IKEA card?

The card works at IKEA stores, on ikea.pl and in the app. IKEA’s current help also lists purchases assisted through chat, phone or Messenger.

IKEA states that the card covers its assortment and services, including purchases at the Restaurant, Bistro and Swedish Food Market in a physical store. This replaces older exclusions that no longer match IKEA’s current guidance.

How to use the IKEA code

1. Add products or services to your basket on ikea.pl, or take them to an IKEA checkout.
2. Select the IKEA gift or refund card payment option.
3. Enter the 19-digit card number and the assigned PIN, or scan the supported card at a checkout.
4. Confirm the payment; the transaction amount is deducted from the balance.
5. If the purchase costs more, pay the difference using the options displayed by IKEA.

Balance, validity and reuse

The card has no expiry date and can be used repeatedly until the balance is exhausted. Check the balance on the IKEA gift card page or at an IKEA store.

The current terms allow a card to be reloaded only at a store checkout and only after its balance reaches PLN 0. The balance cannot be exchanged for cash, and IKEA cannot block or replace a lost or stolen card, so protect the number and PIN like cash.
